KHC Virtual Balloon Race 2026
It's back by popular demand! We are hosting our 2nd VIRTUAL balloon race in October.
A virtual balloon race is an online competition where participants “race” virtual balloons, which simulate the behaviour of real balloons over a period of time. So it's safe (bearing in mind our proximity to East Midlands Airport) and environmentally friendly with no trace of any balloons littering the countryside or endangering wildlife after the race ends.
Our balloons cost £5 each with two prizes consisting of:
- First prize £50 cash
- Second prize is £25 cash
You can buy as many balloons as you wish but the purchaser must be over 18 for legal reasons.!
The race takes place over 2 weeks. When the race starts on 12th October, at noon, balloons move a random distance every 30 minutes until the finish date 25th October at noon.. When the race is over the balloons stop moving and the final leaderboard is displayed.
Tickets will be available at the Cap and Stocking Charity event on 30th August and from this page after the 31st August
